It was a very long traveling day, but “the Professor” has made it to Naples. As I mentioned earlier, the students and faculty were trying to gather in Rome, before they all headed to Naples. Unfortunately, about 40 students who were making connections through Milan lost their luggage. Ouch! So they were quite late checking-in into their hotel.
The good news is that the kids and I just talked to Ashley a few minutes ago, and the flight nightmare is already a distant memory. Naples and Vico Equense is “soooo beautiful”, she said, and they are all having a great time. They had just finished visiting Pompeii, and tomorrow they head for Rome.
I haven’t been this excited about a trip in quite awhile, and I feel like a kid the night before Christmas. I can hardly wait to join her!
