As our domain name suggests, this is a website about the Calabria Family — the ones currently living in Athens, Geogria, USA. Given that most of our family and friends are now either overseas or scattered around the US, the main purpose of this site is to simply give them a convenient way to keep in touch with us.

We are a family of five:

• Paolo is our beautiful baby boy, who was so anxious to meet his family, that he decided to arrive 1 1/2 month early. He is doing extremely well and should be home in a couple of weeks.  He has already filled our hearts with love and excitement.  And we cannot wait wait to welcome him home.
• Chloe is our most beautiful girl. She is a little shy, but she has a very “sunny and happy” personality; she loves gymnastics and cheer leading; she loves art; she’s very loving, and like her mother, she is simply perfect.
• Lorenzo is the “big brother”. He is very handsome; he has a beautiful smile; although like his dad, he is also very serious at times. He loves sports, and having both Italian and Brazilian in his bloodline, he, of course, loves soccer — he is an awesome mid-fielder, and was the captain of our Under-10 soccer team. He is very friendly and kind, and he is very popular at school.
• Ashley is PERFECT! She is the perfect wife; the perfect mom; the perfect daughter; the perfect friend…She is beautiful; she is very smart; and she is extremely positive and up-beat about life. (I often say that if are lucky enough to meet Ashley, and for whatever reason you don’t like her, you my friend, have some serious issues.) Like I said, Ashley is indeed perfect!
• And I, Gildo (Gil), am simply the luckiest one of all to have these three (make that four) in my life.
